Hexatrack is probably one of the best out there. Keyword Spy is a great all around product for multiple uses.

I just started to research software that would enable me to see keywords used by the competition in their AdWords campaigns. What other software do you recommend as an alternative to PPC WebSpy?

After talking to Brad Callen, I think he found that the “Viral” aspect took away from the product. He is now adding to the software to make it even more relevant with PPC research and less with any Viral affiliate methodology. I have definitely changed my mind on this product after talking to him about it.

It sounds really cool and it seems to be a major time saver. So far I’m hearing good things, I just hope I don’t get a ton of emails trying to over sell the product. That can be very annoying. We’ll see…

Yes, that is why I asked for a refund. The main marketing message of the software is saying that you can get into the #1 and #2 positions in Google with your affiliate link and I think that is a serious misrepresentation of what is actually happening. You are only getting ranked on other PPC WebSpy owners computers and they will probably never click on your links because they know they are nothing but affiliate links.

I use a combination of Market Samurai and KeywordSpy for my research.

So you uninstalled due to the viral nature that you didn’t stand behind…I can understand that. But what about hte actual productivity of the spying part of the software?

what are you using instead, if anything?
