WP Robot Review: 6 Autoblogging Tools in 1 Wordpress Plugin

With all the new Autoblogging tools on the market for Wordpress, the bar keeps getting set higher and higher for their productivity.  WP Robot has now set the bar even higher.  WP Robot is a Wordpress Plugin which will not just automatically create blog posts from one source for your Wordpress Blog, it can create an unlimited number of posts from 6 different content sources.

Check out my Video Review here for a closer look at WP Robot:

Now you can build Wordpress blogs on Autopilot with just this one Plugin and pull in Content from ArticlesBase, Clickbank, YouTube, Ebay, Yahoo Answers, and Amazon.com.

Each content source has a separate module which allows you to customize the results to fit into exactly what you want your blog to deliver, plus 3 of the content modules (Amazon, YouTube, and Yahoo Answers) also add in their Reviews, Comments, and Answers as Comments in your Wordpress installation.  This is a one of a kind Plugin that allows you to buy all of the modules together or separately.  After using this for a little over a week now, I can’t see why you would need anything else.  This is definitely an all inclusive product which blows away some of the other products I have reviewed here for Autoblogging.

The Amazon module posts Product information and then the product reviews are posted as comments, all using your Affiliate links and posted based on your keyword selections. Ebay items are posted the same way with up to 6 Auction listings per post.  You can even choose what eBay site to use with your eBay Partner Network Affiliate link. The Article module pulls articles from ArticlesBase.com and posts articles based on your keywords and posted using a template of your choice.  The Clickbank module does the same thing, displaying Clickbank Ads based on your keywords.  The Yahoo Answers module posts Questions based on your keyword choices and Yahoo Answers category. Then the Answers are posted as comments.  Then, the last module is the YouTube module which posts videos based on your keyword selection, then posts all of the comments for that video to the Post as Wordpress comments.

With all of this, you can get an unlimited number of keywords, use them with any module, and then have the Content posted from any Module you want to any categories you want, along with Tags for each post.  Plus, you can choose to have each post submitted as a draft for your approval.  This also allows you to edit anything you want and/ or delete content or comments.

The most impressive part is the Translator module which translates all of this new blog content into 9 differnt languages for increased visibility and Search Engine Indexing.

UPDATE: (October 9, 2009): WP Robot has now added increased functionality and targeting, a Flickr module, an incredible MIX Feature which allows you to Mix the contents from other modules together into one post, and it has enhanced the Ebay module by now incorporating RSS so that each one of your posts by keyword is autoupdating for the life of the post.  All of these updates are included in the new WP Robot 1.2 update.  What this means is that an already great software product, just got better.

Update: (December 2, 2009): WP Robot has just Released Verison 2.0 and it has 2 Great new Modules.  An RSS Module and a Yahoo News Module.  It now includes a Back Dating feature and Affiliate Link Cloaking.  it has really become the all in one Auto Blogging Wordpress Plugin.

Plus, I have Negotiated a Special Coupon Code for You all as well for $30 OFF of the Full Version:  BlackHatRobot

The bottom line is this:  If You want to AutoBlog Effectively, Do It by Clicking this Link Now with WP Robot!

If you are having problems with the link to WP Robot above, Try this one:  WP Robot

  • Sounds sweet. Autoblogging is becoming more and more sophisticated.
  • Yes it is. I have really been making good money from it. In fact, my current setups are doing so well that I am working on a new Ebook and Video series on how to do it effectively.

    Hi Mike,
Good review and I for one would like to learn more about using the system to set up AutoBlogs.

I am currently using a combination of paid and free plugins to Auto-Post, define affiliate keyword links and supplement blogs I am setting up.

Let us know when you get tutorials finished.
  • He Mike, nice review. Reviewazon was beaten with this one. BTW, thanks for adding me in identi.ca. Just recently created a new account and in the process of creating more networks at ping.fm
  • Thanks, you will like my new products then. I have three products that will be released in the next month that deal with Social Networking, Blogging, Autoblogging, and Twitter. My Blog Optimized product will actually show how I beat out most sites and slide into the top 3 positions on Google. I shouldn't do it, but I am going to anyway.

    Thanks again.

Hi am highly interested in autoblogging but some people say it is dead. Is that true? If not can someone please share how much they make from autoblogging if they promote and if they dont. If its a good idea to use senuke to market autoblogs.

    Thanks
  • Autoblogging is far from dead. There is nothing different from how you
promote an autoblog from any other website. Half the battle is building
backlinks so that you give your site more validity. There are tons of
different ways to create autoblogs and there is no one way or one set of
profits you can point to because each one shouold be built different.

I have adsense only autoblogs which make $1 a day with Adsense, I have
autoblogs that make only $5 per month, but then I have affiliate program
niche built autoblogs that make as much as $1500-$2000 per month. It all
depends on how you build it, the niche you are targeting, and how well you
do your SEO and backlink building. The same as any other site. The only
difference is the fact that you are using tools to do it automatically.

Wow this is really motivating, am curious what pluggins do you have on your affiliate autoblog and may i see an example of your affiliate autoblogs so i can have an idea of what it looks like?

Am curious though .info domains are cheaper and would help in saving cost on autoblogs especially when you are just starting but is it true you cant rank high with an autoblog when you are using a .info domain and that they get banned easily. I really want to start autoblogging as soon as possible. what do you advise on this, your blog is lovely and i visit it a lot. You have so many autoblog plugins dont know which is necessary anymore :-) Can you help me with the essential pluggins and the domain issue. Also would like to know when your new products become available. Thanks for all your help so far.
  • As a rule I don't show my Autoblogs, especially my good ones because most people don't know they are autoblogs. When I am done with the Autoblog Blueprint you will see why.

I would use WP Robot as a base for any autoblog, but I have several autoblogs that are built strictly with Autoblogged because it is RSS based. I get a few complaints with Autoblogs with Autoblogged because my blogs tend to rank higher than the original and that of course ticks off the writer of the article. As for affiliate plugins, I use phpBay, Reviewazon, and Datafeedr/ Blog Profitz. I have so many because each one provides a different capability.

I have really been using Reviewazon a lot. The creator is upgrading it a lot and it has a very complete set of features. Also, Reviewazon incorporates both the phpBay and phpOStock plugins in it's results, which helps to create awesome affiliate sites. You have to buy all 3 to use all 3 though. I like Datafeedr for sites I don't want to mess with too much and just drip affiliate products into posts and I use Blog Profitz mainly for my Clickbank product sites and my travel sites because of their HotelClub plugin.

The one thing I do with my main affiliate autoblogs is I let them create around 25-30 posts. I have them all in draft, then I change every single title, and then let them post on auto over several months.

I hope this helps. My Autoblog Blueprint project is taking longer than it should, but I keep adding to it. It should be out by December at latest. My Twitter product will be out around the same time.
  • I have been looking at this with a view to buying it (the $140 version) but I am also looking at buying xsitepro2 (upgrading from version 1 at $127) could I ask...if you had say a limit of $300 what tools/ services what would you buy to start with?
There are so many tools and options available at the moment that it all gets a little overbearing.
  • It's all about having a strategy developed before you buy anything. if you
want to create a bunch of auto blogs, then WP Robot 1.2 is the single best
tool on the market without a doubt. The main thing is already knowing what
you want to accomplish before you buy. I have domains purchased for sites I
know I will not build for months, but I have a plan. That's half the
battle. XsitePro is a great site building tool, but if you are on a tight
budget and just starting out, look at using Wordpress and a good theme set
to get you going. Are you getting into Affiliate Marketing or looking for
and Adsense type business or both? Look at this before you jump in and
    regret spending the money.
  • Thanks for the reply Mike,
You hit the nail on the head when you state 'it's all about strategy', this is the missing link for me at this moment in time,it has lead to massive confusion and frustration,in effect I have been bouncing around like a rubber ball from one thing to the next....I know,I know...there is no silver bullet out there.....it's taken a lot of money to find this out though.
I (like many others I suspect) have bought a truck load of ebooks, video courses, systems and software over the last few years,I got skanked by D200 (Don Bethune and co),Google cash factor (Richard Driver) and James Brausch (now calling himself Diego Norte) you may remove the names from this reply if you wish.

The site my signature leads to is built with Cam Forbes' five minute web sites and has consistently given me about ten dollars a month (adsense) with absolutely no promotion but other sites built with the same programme have never turned over a penny.

My strategy (if it can be called such) is to build a mini empire of self updating 'white hat' sites that will be built for longevity and consistency with a view to my two daughters walking into a ready made business when they are old enough (if they want to that is).

From looking around the info available on xsite2 I see that it can now be integrated with wordpress showing the same templates and overall look/feel of the main pages so it seems like a good combo to start again with (I am trying to say it seems I could settle with these two programs and get some more sites out there).
I have gone from having over a hundred domains back down to around sixty and want to build them out updating on auto (again wp robot and xsite2 seem to fit this part of the plan).

From reading the information on your site I can see I have never placed enough importance on link building and article marketing...so I am going to get my sites out using spun articles and content (using your methods) and then use your link building strategies as a blueprint.
I suppose this is part one of my strategy....get the sites out there first just ticking over and then concentrate on promotion.
I aim to make income from adsense and affiliate marketing.
I stumbled across your site quite by accident but can see myself spending a lot of time here swatting up and reading your reviews.
Brilliant site and good solid info Mike.
    Many thanks
    PaulO
  • Your plan doesn't sound like a bad one, the thing I would stress is "quality
over quantity". I have so many new ideas on a daily basis that initially I
was trying to do too many things at once. Eventually I saw the light and
streamlined my focus and created "Plans of Action" which I would not stop
until they were complete, no matter what new idea I had. I had to create an
idea manager of sorts to keep things in perspective and to keep on track.

Link building is the single most important thing you can do for your sites.
Most of my sites are not masterfully designed sites, but they have good
content and a ton of search engine placement because of my expertise in
SEO. Take this site for instance. I probably post to this blog about 5-6
times per month and I use a free (and very bland) wordpress theme for the
site. This site is in the top 50,000 as ranked by Alexa. Think about what
it takes to make that happen, but it wasn't hard. I practice what I preach
    here and it works.
  • Is there and SEO disadvantage by using .info domain names? Does Google put any penalty on using them?

Great site and content! Love the helpful tips and ideas! (:
  • Not at all. I use .info domains all the time. There used to be an
advantage to .com's over everything else, but you can see this domain is a
.net and it dominates tons of .com's. I have .info's that I use almost
exclusively for short term affiliate profits.

im interested in monetizing with only amazon. should i get the yahoo and article modules too? or just the amazon module will do?
  • It depends on how you want to configure your site. If you want to feature
Amazon products and reviews, the best tool is actually ReviewAZON. It is
another great Autoblogging affiliate tool. Here is my review:

    http://www.blackhatsoftware.net/site_builders/r...

If you are looking to create an information site where you make money from
Amazon products in the specific niche, then I would buy the Full Elite
version of WP Robot. This gives you the ability to create posts which are
mutifaceted and provide information, not just push affiliate products. The
Yahoo Answes and Article Modules allow you to do this.

Does this make sense? Think of what you would like to see when going to a
new website. Would you click on the links there? I always use this as my
    barometer for what makes sense.

Sounds great. The only problem I have with wprobot is that it does not hide the affiliate link. Will Google penalize my site?
  • Google does not like tons of affiliate links, if your site is seen as having
tons of affiliate links then you will be penalized. That is also why I use
tools like phpBay and ReviewAZON when I want to promote eBya and Amazon
products. For all other programs, I use WP Robot and the Ninja Affiliate
Cloaker Plugin to cloak all of my affiliate links.
  • Des
    Mike,

Have you ever used datafeedr.com for some of your wordpress blogs and if so do recommend that plugin over wprobot. Also have you ever used wpdirect.com
  • I have a review of Datafeedr here on the site. They are a great service. I
have 10 sites operating on Datafeedr Feeds along with WP Robot. You can't
say one product is better than the other because they are used for different
purposes. I mainly use WP Robot for it's content producing qualities (Yahoo
Answers, Articles, Youtube Videos) and not the Affiliate ones (Amazon,
    Ebay). I use *phpBay* <http://www.blackhatsoftware.net/recommends/phpB...
    *Reviewazon* <http://www.blackhatsoftware.net/recommends/Revi...> for
those affiliate programs because they cloak links and are more highly
targeted. The same thing goes for Datafeedr. Datafeedr produces product
feeds for millions of products. It has a scheduler and everything. You can
use it for Posts you created or you can have it create posts for you. It is
great for building Affiliate Stores filled with products. The problem is
that now you can't just have a blog filled with products without having
content too. Google will devalue your site fast and it will be SLAPed and
deindexed. Every site you create now has to start with content first and
products second. I have each one of my sites on a 2 month cycle now. The
days of instant profits are gone. Unless you like throwing domains away
    that is.

WP Direct is a waste in my opinion. It is a nice racket for them, but I
like full control of my sites.
  • Des
    Mike,

I was also hoping if you could do a review on hummingbirdtwitter.com or do you have any good sources for finding applications that can find twitter followers.

    Thanks
  • I have tried this program and it isn't bad at all, but there are better ways
to do it for Free or almost Free. Twitter is now deleting accounts that
they feel are just SPAMing their site now, so auto follow software tools
have to be managed right or you will lose. I have a program I was creating
but have put on the back burner because of other projects called the Twitter
Success System which will detaile how to do this. Look at Bill Crosby, the
creator of the Twitter Traffic Machine. His account was cancelled by
Twitter because he was advocating some shady ways of getting followers. You
have to do it smartly or you will get burned. I have almost 7000 followers
through using my methods over 4 months. They are quality followers and not
    crap because of my methodology.
  • thanx for great review!
    this seems great wp robot
just joined wp mage and also looked at master mage at 500$
then googled and found this after looking for wp mixer (that seems dead)
have you tried wp mage(master mage) ?
    tried storestacker?

    differences?

what i wonder is in wp robot is possibillity to post with older dates, can one do that or just future posts?

    else it seems perfect!
  • I haven't tried WP Mage because I don't need it. A lot of money for things
I can do myself already. $500 is way too much to spend on something like
    that anyway.

Storestacker was good when it first came out, but if you are going to buy
from HalfAgain, you need to buy their Bog Profits membership. I use that,
Datafeedr, ReviewAZON, phpBAY, phpOstock, and a few other tools for
    Affiliate profits through Wordpress.

WP Robot is the best auto blog tool for Wordpress on the web. You can't
backdate automatically with it yet, I know he's working on it though. There
are other free or low cost plugins on the web which can do it though. I
just can't think of the names off the top of my head right now.
