This past year the #1 Rated Ebook Download according to Mashable.com was The Authority Black Book:  The Best Web 2.0 Resources for Generating Traffic.  Now that is quite a mouthful, but when you are talking about a Social Marketing ebook being downloaded more than 40,000 times, you are truly saying something.

After running across this website and noting the “bold” statements about how great of a rating this ebook had and how it rated so well, I took it upon myself to see what all the hype was about.

I was really surprised by how in depth the Authority Black Book goes into how to use Web 2.0 sites and Social Bookmarking to increase website traffic.  A lot of it is already common knowledge, but it is laid out very well.  The book itself is 67 pages of material and it was just recently updated to be even more relevant instead of a bookend of old info.

The part of the book I delved into the most was the eye opening report on how to maximize your RSS reach and the Link Baiting write-up really showed how you can generate hundreds of backlinks to your websites rather easily.  All White Hat.

A really good report worth reading if you are looking for a strategy on how to maximize the use of Web 2.0 and Social Bookmarking to increase traffic and backlinks to your websites.
