Of all the Wordpress Plugins I have seen lately this has to be the most ingenious one yet. Virtual Silo is the first Wordpress Plugin which addresses Google’s Latent Semantic Indexing requirement for Blogs and overall site structure. i bought this thru your link based on this "What it does it take related posts, based on keywords, and aligns them together to make Google think your site is structured like their Search Engine."
Upon implementation, I'm finding out it doesn't. It works of your categories and whatever you have put in each category. If you don't have categories it makes a linear chain out of your posts and not silos.
If am mistaken please clarify.
I also can't get it to stop putting no-follow on links from a php generated page I have as part of a 3 way linking exchange.

I am sorry. I should have deleted this post awhile ago. This stopped
working effectively a few versions of Wordpress ago.

I will fix this post in the next few days with better information.

Mike, Was too late for me to get a refund but your blog is excellent so no worries. In fact I just bought BMD5 through you.

Since i'm stuck with Virtual Silo, can you tell me what's now ineffective about it? and if there is a workaround?

I have it on one of my blogs and I also just noticed that, it made all the links to the category names, nofollow, unlike the diagram you have above, and there is no option to change that like there is to change it for the homepage. I believe in letting pagerank flow up from posts to categories to homepage.

I have found that just using the Platinum SEO Pack or All in One SEO Pack
works just fine. I have almost forgotten about creating "Silo" structures
on myBlogs because I haven't needed it.

lol. Lucky I didn't buy Virtual Silo plugin. Comments always tell more of the story. I use Thesis theme for wordpress - Mike, I am just wondering if you have had experience with Thesis?

Also regarding silo structure, are you saying that you no longer use silos, and is that because they do not work quite as effectively as Dan Raine makes out (for blogs at least)?

I use thesis and wp unlimited. Both are solid. Silos just are not that
crucial. Do they help in overall SEO? Yeah, but do I have sites listed at
number 1 for their keywords without silo structure? Tons.
