Blog Profitz Review: Auto Blog Affiliate Datafeeds, Content, and Video
Thursday
Jun 4, 2009
The guys at Half Again have gone and done it again. It seems ironic that I have been talking about Auto Blogging for the last few posts and here you have one of the most advanced Auto Blogging services launching today, Blog Profitz.
A few weeks ago I was provided with a Blog Profitz account, so that I could adequately review and evaluate the Blog Profitz system. After a short period of time and several additions to a few of my blogs, I have to say they have done a masterful job at putting this service together.
Blog Profitz, in a nutshell, is a combination of an Affiliate Datafeed (for multiple services), Content Provider (from their Content Club), and Video Content (from Youtube), plus RSS Feeds from any RSS source. You take all of these and they add up to one great service which can automatically post to as many blogs as you want on the time schedule that you set.
Blog Profitz takes Half Again’s StoreStacker model and expands on it by using the dynamic database from WordPress and other blog installs and can turn your blog into a Niche Specialty site in minutes, all on autopilot.
The Affiliate Datafeeds are populated from sources like Clickbank, Commission Junction, Ebay, Overstock.com, and many, many more. You can set up the number of items, by category and keyword so that you can fill specific categories on your blog with the exact items you want on a posting schedule that you desire. You set up each blog individually and then you can also setup each service individually to post what you want for each blog you have. The sky is really the limit based on the membership level that you choose.
The Content Club content is unique content, better than any PLR articles you will ever find (one of the better content sources out there by itself), but here you do not have to pay extra for the articles as you normally would. You can choose the category and autopost from over 15,000 articles to your site with content specifically targeted to your niche.
Then, you can pick any RSS Feed source you want and add more content to your site with Niche Targeted content, once again on a schedule that you set. You can do this differently for every blog you have on the system. Also, add in the You Tube Video Content source, and all you have to do is choose keywords or authors and start pumping Video into your blog to whatever category and you want on the schedule you want.
You can see what I am getting at here right? The possibilities are endless. It is up to you and your imagination. I have added this service to 2 of my pre-existing blogs and have created 4 more. All are getting tremendous traffic already (50-150 unique visitors per day) and all are heavily indexed in Google with no issues. With this much variation in content, and you do need to use the content sources not just affiliate datafeeds, you can show Google that you have a lot of content from various sources and that your Blog is well rounded. Providing your visitors with everything they could want from a Niche Targeted blog. I have easily made around $350 from these sites already with little to no effort on my part.
I can’t say enough about this service, but then again, I got it for Free. Great work guys!!

What would be the best way to get traffic to these blogs?. I doubt they would get traffic from natural search

Actually I get most of my traffic from natural searches right now. I also use the Auto Social Poster to automatically post to aroun 40 Social Bookmarking sites with each auto blog post. (I actually only post to 10 random Social Bookmarking Sites with each post.) These blogs do not have a problem getting indexed well if you still use the normal SEO plugins like the All in One SEO plugin to help with SEO. I am actually working on an ebook about it now.

I've allways found halfagain products, buggy and pretty useless for any money making purpose. Their auto blog software creates blogs that either dont get indexed or that get deindexed pretty darn fast….waste of time.

You obviously haven’t used the software. Autoblogging through WordPress is making me money like crazy right now. I have been building One site per week because of it. If you use the right combination of techniques, you can even rank better for articles and videos than the original. It is all in how you do it. Don’t take my advice if you don’t believe me. Go to the Warrior Forum and you’ll see tons of other marketers doing the same thing.
As for Half Again products, most people are usually to inexperienced to be able to fully take advantage of their programs because most are very advanced tools. Storestacker was an easy one, but I think they realized that it wasn’t working as well anymore and blogs are the way to go, thus you now have Blog Profitz. I have used their programs for years without issue. Scott and Omar are quality dudes.

How much internet marketing promotion did u need to do to get 50-150 unique visitors to the 4 new BlogProfitz sites? You said u made about $350 from these sites. $350 per site or $350 divided among the 6 sites?

It has been a little while since I wrote this review and the amount of traffic and money I get from these sites goes up and down. What I did was just a little promotion through SENuke and I submitted the sites through a buddy of mine to about 100 Social Bookmarking sites each. With that small promotion, in a very targeted niche I was able to pull in around $350 in total from all of the sites.
Since then, these same sites have had 2 additional promotions to around 200 PR6-PR8 sites for each site. It has made me number 1 for 2 of the sites in their niche, but hasn't gotten me anywhere with the other 2 sites (which I actually fell off of page 1 to page 2). It is all about the level of competition in the niche.
I also use a number of other Plugins to aid in bringing in content to these blogs like WP Robot and Reviewazon just to name a few. Diversity and link building is key and it is all niche dependent for how much you have to do and how much you make.

Wow, how did u manager to get 200 pr6-prr8 sites? using senuke or some other software? would u recommend one in using blogprofitz after using it for some time (monthly payment) or just autoblogging software like wprobot (once-off payment)?

There are a lot of great link resources in the Warrior Forum WSO area for
high PR linking opportunities. I use around 6 different autoblogging tools
to make money from my autoblogs. It allows me to do so many different
things without doing a cookie cutter website and helps to make each site
unique. I have reviewed most of them on this site.

I see that Blog Profitz is available at the moment. I love the look of the system but am concerned that it all runs from there server, so ultimately they retain control.
Also this is pretty expensive on a monthly basis too.

I use the low end membership. I like a few of their programs speciifcally
the HotelClub and Clickbank feeds they pull. The biggest bang for your buck
is the content articles you get as well. That makes the whole system worth
every penny.
Yes they run it, but if it goes away, what do you lose?

Since this review was done about 10 months ago, and the thread is pretty old now, I'm not sure you will still see this comment? I've been on Scott's email list for many years now and bought The Blog Solution years ago.
At the time, I didn't know as much about blogs as I do now, so I didn't do anything with it. Things have changed and I now write a financial blog, (RedDragonLeo.com) that I completely customized. It was the basic free wp theme that comes with everyone's first blog.
I created the header, footer, changed the background, etc… I now get 3-4,000 unique vistors per month, but it's not the blog I want to place ad's on. That blog is my personal blog, and I want too keep it “Ad free”.
Instead, I'm just looking to do something with some domains that I've owned for 5-10 years now. They are good names, but I don't know how to make any money from them? I know how to use WordPress, as I write new posts daily on my financial blog, and helped a friend set her blog up too.
I want to use 3 domains that I don't do anything on. Those are DiscountEverything.com, TravelHalfPrice.com, and TheBusinessReporter.com. They are all dead sites now, with an old 90's style site on TBR, and some splash page on THP, and nothing but an “Under Construction” sign on DE.
I can edit headers and stuff in wordpress, and insert custom graphics. I took a free wp theme and created all the graphics on my friends site (HotOptionBabe.com). It now looks like a real site, just like my blog RDL.
I don't want to put up some garbage looking site, so I've been playing around with some of the free wp themes, changings some of the graphics and uploading them to temporary sites. For the DE site, I put up a test blog on http://theblog.thebusinessreporter.com.
All I did on TBR was add the text in the header. I want to do the same for DE, but the big concern is whether or not Blogprofitz will work with a custom template, and automate the posting process. If not, do you know of another program that will work well?
I want to build it longterm, not some spammy looking site, like most of the cheap software does. Your site is nice looking, and well layed out. I want to do the same. Anyway, thanks for listening.
Oh… one more thing. Joel Comm just released a new blog template called Socrates, and it's designed specifically for internet marketers. I wonder if it would work with Blogprofitz, or can Blogprofitz do everything it does with the plugin provided?
Thanks again,
Dan

I wouldn't recommend Blog Profitz as my first course of action. Go through
the blog here and look at some of the top rated auto blogging plugins for
WordPress that I have reviewed. WP Robot for starters. I thik you will
find exactly what you are lookig for.

Thanks for your help Mike…
I've been reading what WP Robot will do, and it's quite impressive. I have a question though, and maybe you can answer it. Since my domain names are old, I have the ability to backdate some posts to make the site lot bigger. How far would you date back?
I've own TBR since May of 2005, and DE since December of 1998. Is there a way to spend a month or two, locating all the keywords I want, with all the categories I'm planning on using, but not ping the search engines until I'm done?
I may be wrong on this, but it might look more natural if the site was built out with hundreds or thousands of pages first, and then tell the search engines to find it. It might look like they just overlooked that site. Then of course, I would set it to grow naturally.
The other question would be related to sub-domains or sub-folders. Would you recommend building a site by using sub-domains for each of the different categories, or keeping them all under the primary domain by using sub-folders?
Thanks again for your help…

I wouldn't backdate more than 2 years, others may disagree, but I htink
anymore than that will send up more of a red flag than actually help you.
You can make your site private until you get all of your keywords and
categories setup and then go on a blog and ping campaign using something
like Web Traffic genius to go through all of your posts over a few weeks to
ping al of your sites Posts and Pages and wake Googel up to your
site'sexistance again. I wouldn't put your site into “sleep mode' for too
long because it could cause oyu to lose backlinks and other value it already
has in the SERPs.
As for sub-domains, I don't use them a lot. I like to use one site with
multiple categories.

Your link to Blog Profitz triggers an access block in the Kaspersky anti-virus software, saying that there is a trojan program being downloaded. Just wanted you to know. I took a screen shot if you want to see it.
