LinkXL Review: Awesome Content Site Monetization
I signed up for the LinkXL.com service about a month ago and have to say: WOW! What an easy way to Make Money from Content Links. I have now added this service to over 20 websites and I will continue to do so as long as they let me. Here's why:
LinkXL is a service that allows you to make money from keywords listed in content on your website. You choose what content they can use by adding tokens to the content on your sites. If you have a Wordpress Blog, it becomes even easier because you can just upload their Wordpress Plugin to your blog and away you go. If you choose, you can just pick specific pages on your site or you can have the LinkXL spider crawl your entire site and use all of your content for Keyword monetization.
I normally choose between 2 or 3 keywords per page so my pages are not saturated with paid links. You can make your keywords even more valuable by allowing them to become backlinks with a "dofollow" tag or you can sell your keyword links as "nofollow" links. It is entirely up to you.
You can also Buy valuable backlinks for your website. All you have to do is use the LinkXL search function and find backlinks you want for any given keyword. I picked a few out and found one which had a solid PR and ranking. It was a genuine backlink with "dofollow" anchor text for my website here on an Alexa Ranked site (81677), pointing to my site here. Check out the link buried in the article for the keyword "advanced SEO" here. This is a great example of what you can do. I am paying $1.00 per month for this link with "dofollow" anchor text, making it a genuine backlink with incredible value for my site.
If you are smart and SEO savvy, you already see the endless possibilities for all of your websites by using this Free service.
I had some issues with getting my sites listed initially, but then I found that the Customer Service reps at LinkXL would upload the software on my sites for me and BAM, there I was operating easily. Wordpress Blogs are simple, you just have to realize that it might take up to 3 hours for your sites to come online after setup is complete. You do have to go through a couple pages on their site during setup, but I can tell you it was well worth it. I aslo recommend not pricing your keyword achot text for your sites too high as this will cut down on your profits. I started with $5 links, found that I wasn't selling any, changed my links to $1 and $2 per month and now I have a monthly recurring income from this service where I am on the way to around $50 in my first month. As this grows, you can see the easy monetization of thousand page sites. Especially if they have some decent pagerank and are niche sites with good niche keyword domain names.
Check it out, I can't recommend an easier way to make a recurring income for your Content based websites or to add to your own value added backlinks. Get more information on LinkXL here.
Double Affiliate Profits with StoreStacker, Ebay, and SaleHoo
You can litterally Double your Affiliate Commission Profits with a technique I have been using with my StoreStacker sites, the Ebay Affiliate Program, and wholesale dropshipping sources from SaleHoo.
Resources Used for this Money Making Technique:
- StoreStacker - Affiliate Product Site (SteelShades.com)
- SaleHoo - Wholesale Dropshipper
- Ebay Partner Network - Ebay Affiliate Program
- SENuke - Web 2.0 Marketing and SEO
First: Take a look at a very generic StoreStacker storefront here: Steel Shades Sunglasses (Storestacker creates Affiliate Stores filled with products from Amazon, Clickbank, Overstock, RegNow, HotelsPlus, and in this case we are focusing on the Ebay Affiliate Partner program. Every product is an Affiliate Link.)
This store is filled with Sunglasses. Certain Pages have been created with Products from Ebay based on Keywords. Very easy to setup. The entire site took about 20 minutes to make. While I have Sunglasses from Amazon and Overstock on the site (to increase my money making chances) I have focused my Social Bookmarking and Web 2.0 marketing (with SENuke) on just the pages which have specific Ebay Products I have selected.
Here is the gimmick to this money making technique. I use wholesale dropshipping sources from SaleHoo (undoubtedly the best wholesale source online) and post the products I find there on Ebay for sale. In this example, I am using Sunglasses.
I am going to sell the sunglasses on Ebay regardless, but I want to make even more money than just the sale differntial between the dropshipping price and the sale price. I want to bump that up a bit, so what I do next is what you see above. I use StoreStacker to create a website filled with the same products I have just put on Ebay.
Now I promote those pages as I stated above and when I make a sale through my StoreStacker Ebay Affiliate Links, I not only get the sale on my product through Ebay, but a get an Ebay Affiliate commission. Is this the most ethical thing in the world, mabe not, but it is very easy to do. Can you make sites strictly with Products you are selling on Ebay without StoreStacker. Certianly. Any number of different sites can be setup this way and you can also use your own products to sell on Ebay as well. The concept is easy and the technique can be used any number of ways.
The Key thing to remember is: You want the links from outside Ebay to drive Traffic straight to your Product and those links will increase your Affiliate site's (StoreStacker or not) SEO and ranking in the SERPs, which will just continue to drive sales and higher affiliate profits.
Black Hat SEO Money Making Techniques - Part 1
Over the last few months I have received a lot of emails about the Black Hat Software that is reviewed and listed on this site. The main question has been: Does it actually work? Since I have received so many emails about this, I decided to write a series of articles on the methods I use to make money using Black Hat SEO Techniques.
Part 1: Long Haul Profits
When building any new money making method, there is a lot of preparation. Planning and conducting your operations in a well thought out manner is important. For Par 1 of this series I am going to tlk about long haul profits. Meaning: Building a base of operations for continued profits for a long duration. Short term money making strategies will be covered later.
Base of Operations: Blogs & Money Sites
You've heard it before I'm sure, but in this article I'll describe how to utilize these for long term profits. You will need to create Blogs and Money sites for each Niche, but first you need to understand the Hosting aspect of it.
Hosting:
It is important to host your Blogs on a different hosting account than your Money sites. What I like to do is host my Blogs on a VPS/ Reseller Account with eBoundHost (great host, lots of space, unlimited domains). The main reason is to keep each blog on an independent Class C IP address. The blogs you build will be built for link power for your money sites. If they are on the same IP, Google will ID them as being owned by the same company. So building your blogs with a hosting service like eBoundHost is the best alternative. Now for your Money Sites. Money sites should be hosted on a Shared Hosting service. Hostmonster is the best Shared Hosting service on the web. They have an awesome domain management feature and the most advanced cPanel configuration of any host I have seen. This site is hosted with Hostmonster. (You can see this at http://www.who.is/. Hostmonster has over 495,000 sites and your sites will not be punished for being on the same IP, because thousands of sites are on the same IP, but they won't have the power that your Blogs have. That will not matter, trust me on this. Both hosting services described above are the lowest priced hosts that have the best overall features. You can do your own research, but I'm pretty sure on this.
Domains:
When registering domains, it is best to find low cost resources to do so. I stay away from Godaddy because they can and will cancel your registrations if they think you are conducting unethical activities. I use a very low budget service called Websites, Hosting, & Domains. They offer Free Privacy Protection with every Domain Registration and this is important if you want to keep a low profile. plus, they are always running specials and their standard transfer and registration prices are lower than most sites because they are a domain reseller, which means they are selling at prices lower than the main domain provider they sell for. Highly recommended.
Blogs:
Blogs are a great way to build your base. They are Search Engine Spider friendly and are esaily indexed after just a few posts. You can dominate a niche with Blogs by themselves if you want, but you have to be dedicated to the task. A few tools that make things easy don't hurt either.
There are several Blog Generation tools on the market, but if you want long term success you require a blog generator which can satisfy the requirement. Creating blogs which have names like (dogs-123, niche-784, etc.) will not work. They are strictly short term profit builders. Search Engines weed out the weak rather quickly. Tools like the Blog Solution are made for short term profits unless you use the Wordpress Theme Converter they provide. Usng this tool with random and commonly used Wordpress themes will help, but Blog Solution still has a decent footprint which basic Wordpress installations do not have. Good product for making money quick, but best for short term money shots because the domains don't last long before they are banned by Google. I'll talk about removing footprints later.
I like using RSS to Blog with the RSS to Blog Mass Installer because they are built with long term profits in mind. You can also create Wordpress sites strictly by hand or you can make them more quickly using the Wordpress Auto Installer along with WP Cloner for quick setup as an alternative, which I have done many times (including this blog). The main reason I have switched gears and started using RSS to Blog Mass Installer is that it gives me the ability to mass install Wordpress and Blogger blogs (both on MY DOMAINS). Yes, you can host Blogger Blogs on your own domain (which is the best way to go for longevity). Then using RSS to Blog I am able to auto post to my blogs through RSS Feeds and Articles. (More on that later)
The key trick here is to setup your blogs in groups of 6-8 blogs which all have the same Niche or theme. Using similar keyword domain groups (dogtraining.com, dog-training.com, dog-trainers.com, dogspecialists.com, etc.) You are not going to use sub-domains with Long Haul sites, only top level domains. Keyword research using Wordze or WordTracker (I don't use WordTracker anymore) will help you pick a Niche which is viable and profitable (I could write a 10 post series on this alone). Wordze can show you which keywords have the highest probability of success. Look for words with a high KEI.
After you have identified your Niche and Keywords, create your blogs using the above software. Once your blogs are up, go to each oine and ensure the settings are correct and the plugins are activated. When using RSS to Blog, you can now begin setting up your blogs for auto posting, but there is a very important thing to do prior to this.
Unique Content:
There are two ways to go about getting unique content. One is a rather easy way, the other is a more long term solution. You can sign up for a Unique Article Wizard membership and then receive as many unique articles as you want while also creating thousands more for link building purposes (highly recommended service). Once you hae a good store of articles, you can use them to slowly build your sites with RSS to Blogs random posting options. Randomly post 2-3 times per week to your blogs with these articles. Then, you need to find RSS Feeds which match your Niche as well. Using RSS Magician, it will randomize these feeds and use synonyms to make the feeds more unique. They won't be purely unique, but they will be unique and random enough to keep the eye of Google off of them. You then add these feeds to your RSS to Blog random posting option on different days of the week as your articles and at different times. You can have them post together on the same day in one instance, but don't do it more than that.
For true long haul profits, you can go to Get a Freelancer and have articles written for about $1 a day. They will be 100% unique, but you have to be truely dedicated to start using this technique. I use it for my money sites on 4 of my pristine, 100% unique sites which a build by hand for true profitability, but it is not that much more profitable than the techniques I am showing you in the long run. I have a love for these domains and I can't bare to lose them. Which brings me to a point: Don't waste a great domain name on any of these sites. Use those for white hat profits.
Money Sites: (Use similar Domain Names like your Blogs, Same niche)
These are simple. I like using a combination of two site builders. The basic RSS Evolution and Self Growing Websites. Mixing things up helps a lot when building your long term profit sites. It also helps to have at least two Google Adsense accounts. With RSS Evolution, I take all the keywords I researched from Wordze, I plugin my RSS Feeds from RSS Magician once again (different feeds from my blogs), and then auto create my sites. the important thing I do however, is I edit each template to take out all of the RSS Evolution standard code and add in my own words and meta tags. Very important to keep the footprint of mass produced sites away from your new money sites. The same thing with Self Growing Websites. These sites are the best long term money makers because you can auto "Grow" your site by a page a day or however you choose. very similar to your blogs. you can actually build Wordpress blogs with this software too, but I like to keep things different to avoid any undue footprint (making my sites look the same). I use random articles from Unique Article Wizard and Get a Freelancer, plus RSS Feeds with RSS Magician again for building these sites. Slowly building your sites gives them a more natural appearance rather than creating a 10,000 page site instantly. I usually only add around 200 keywords to my RSS Evolution sites to keep the footprint low and unabtrusive.
Linking:
All of your blogs need to be linked together through an added Resources page. Create this page and add links from high PR sites like Wikipedia and other authority sites to build link power for your sites. You then add LSI linking through RSS to Blog by adding in links to your Money sites randomly in posts. Do not add more than 1-2 links to your Money sites per post. Create links back to your blogs from the Money sites. Link each Money site to 3-4 of your Blogs, but not all of them.
Make Money:
Add Google Adsense, Affiliate Feeds, or cloaked Affiliate Links to your Blogs and Money sites. I started just monetizing my Money sites, but then found that by building this Niche Empire I was dominating some Niche's with my sites. So now I add Adsense and Affiliate links to all of my sites. It is better to focua on either Adsenes or Affiliate links, not both because you want you profits focused and easy to analyze. Affiliate Feed products like CB-RSS and Auction Affiliate are good tools for easy monetization which I will get into in later parts of this series.
With all this said and done, the premise for this technique is that your Blog sites drive traffic and search engine indexing for your Money sites. Your Money sites should receive the bulk of your traffic. Sometimes one of the blogs will dominate by themselves and make you more money, but in reality, if all of your blogs point to your Money sites, this should not be the case. I usually start to see results with this technique after about 2-3 weeks. I will dump a few posts in the Digital Point Forums to get them started, but Google loves Blogs and will normally index them in just a few days after initial posting begins. Not every site will receive equal attention, and you will see which layouts work the best for each niche. i have had single Money sites make $500 a day while the 5-8 additional sites I have partnered with it make just a few dollars. That is why we look to saturate the Niche and not just randomly create individual sites.
Stay Tuned for more.
