You can submit differnet titles, use different accounts, use proxy servers, and more importantly, you can add hundreds, if not thousands of Scuttle and Scuttle Plus Social Bookmarking sites to your submission list. You can create random profiles on Social Bookmarking sites and more, plus the program is fast. It will spider your site and then you can have it randomly Bookmark your site's pages over any period of time you choose to make it look like different people are bookmarking your site. Version 4 promises to take this to the next level. A very all inclusive program, Bookmarking Demon is my #1 choice for Automated Social Bookmarking.
- RSS Bookmarker. RSS Bookmarker also has its perks, and I have used it, and still use it quite extensively. It does not have the multiple account option like Bookmarking Demon, but it will allow you to create RSS Feeds for any website you own (great for static html sites) and then will take your sites and then slowly drip your pages into the Social Bookmarking sites on a random schedule that oyu select. RSS Bookmarker will allow you to add an unlimited number of Scuttle and Scuttle Plus Sites to your bookmarks. RSS Bookmarker is a script however and will not do a search for the Scuttle sites for you like Bookmarking demon will. This script is great for creating a set it and forget it automatic Bookmarking option for your websites with RSS.
- Auto Social Poster. Auto Social Poster is made by the makers of RSS Bookmarker, but it was built strictly for Wordpress. While this does not have near the functionality of the other 2 Programs, it will submit to the same 35 or more Social Bookmarking sites that the others do, plus you can also add the Scuttle Bookmarking sites as well. The key feature for this Wordpress Plugin is that once installed on your Wordpress site, you never have to touch it again. RSS Bookmarker Website Social Bookmarking Review
When I first saw this software (RSS Bookmarker) I was very skeptical, especially with the price being $297. A friend of mine convinced me to try it out and I balked and instead just purchased Mass Automation's Auto Social Poster for Wordpress instead. It also bit me quite hard as this program is $197. I should have just purchased RSS Bookmarker and here's why:
First, the program is exactly what it claims to be. RSS Bookmarker claims it will take your site's RSS Feed (any website's RSS Feed) and slowly "drip" your website into the 34 of the most common Social Bookmarking sites. It will also add a limitless number of Scuttle and ScuttlePlus Social Bookmarking sites to your submission list if you add them. Of course you have to have accounts with each site to make this work. No problem.
The problem is, Auto Social Poster (ASP) does the exact same thing, but only with Wordpress posts. Just like RSS Bookmarker, ASP will randomize your submissions, but it won't do the entire site like RSS Bookmarker will. With RSS Bookmarker you can setup jobs and list every website you own and submit them in random order over a few weeks to each Social Bookmarking site. Here's the kicker. If your site doesn't have an RSS Feed, RSS Bookmarker comes with a RSS Feed Generator which will create a feed for any website you own!
So, I spent $197 on a Wordpress only peice of software when I could have paid only $100 more and gotten a single software solution for every site I own and build.
