I constantly get emailed, requesting information on what Social Bookmarking Software tools for Auto Social Bookmarking are the best. This is being written so I don't have to write anymore emails about it. I have 3 Social Bookmarking tools that I believe are the best tools on the market and the only ones I will use. The thing is, they all have different capabilities and are not all inclusive. You will have to decide which one fits your requirements the best, but I will draw comparisons and differences to help you along the way.
Here are my Top 3 Auto Social Bookmarking Software Tools:
- Bookmarking Demon 4. Bookmarking Demon is software for your Desktop first of all. It is not a script. Version 3 is advertised on the site right now, but Version 4 will be released in the next few weeks. This software will allow you to submit your entire website to the top Social Bookmarking sites. You can submit differnet titles, use different accounts, use proxy servers, and more importantly, you can add hundreds, if not thousands of Scuttle and Scuttle Plus Social Bookmarking sites to your submission list. You can create random profiles on Social Bookmarking sites and more, plus the program is fast. It will spider your site and then you can have it randomly Bookmark your site's pages over any period of time you choose to make it look like different people are bookmarking your site. Version 4 promises to take this to the next level. A very all inclusive program, Bookmarking Demon is my #1 choice for Automated Social Bookmarking.
- RSS Bookmarker. RSS Bookmarker also has its perks, and I have used it, and still use it quite extensively. It does not have the multiple account option like Bookmarking Demon, but it will allow you to create RSS Feeds for any website you own (great for static html sites) and then will take your sites and then slowly drip your pages into the Social Bookmarking sites on a random schedule that oyu select. RSS Bookmarker will allow you to add an unlimited number of Scuttle and Scuttle Plus Sites to your bookmarks. RSS Bookmarker is a script however and will not do a search for the Scuttle sites for you like Bookmarking demon will. This script is great for creating a set it and forget it automatic Bookmarking option for your websites with RSS.
- Auto Social Poster. Auto Social Poster is made by the makers of RSS Bookmarker, but it was built strictly for Wordpress. While this does not have near the functionality of the other 2 Programs, it will submit to the same 35 or more Social Bookmarking sites that the others do, plus you can also add the Scuttle Bookmarking sites as well. The key feature for this Wordpress Plugin is that once installed on your Wordpress site, you never have to touch it again. It does have a random posting feature, so if your blog is auto updated daily, it will not SPAM the Social Bookmarking sites over and over unless you want it to.

Scuttle Plus: Web 2.0 and Social Bookmarking
After completing my 15th Scuttle Plus website, I began to realize that the Web 2.0 phenomenon is still kicking. if you are wondering what Scuttle is, it is an Open Source Social Bookmarking website script which allows anyone to create their own Social Bookmarking website like Technorati, Slurp, Furl, Digg, etc..
I was reading a marketing ebook several months ago which focused on Web 2.0 when I decided to look into Social Bookmarking and why anyone would want to own such a site. Web 2.0 works well in the Search Engines, so I thought to myself: Wouldn't it be feasible to create profitability from a Social Bookmarking site??
The answer is definitely YES! After now creating 15 sites I average around $10 a day (give or take) in Adsense revenue from 10 of the sites. The last 5 are still being slowly worked in to Google and are randomly making anywhere from a few cents to $3 per day in Adsense revenue. You can easily do the math here: $10 x 10 websites/ day = $100 per day ($3000/ month).
So how did I get to this point? Rather easily actually. I first downloaded the Scuttle script for free from the SourceForge website here. Then after I struggled to get my first site complete, I started searching for a compliment, mod, plugin, or some type of add-on for the Scuttle script which would make it easier to manage and setup. That is when I came across the Scuttle Plus administrative backend for Scuttle. What Scuttle Plus provided was not only the ability to manage a Scuttle installation, but the ability to manage multple installations, manage the number of bookmarks left by members per day, delete members or ban them by name or IP, but most importantly, it has advanced features which allows you to add Google Adsense ads to your Scuttle sites quickly and easily. This addition amplified my site making speed and allowed me to focus on what my big picture was: Making Money with Social Bookmarking.
